Hypnosis and hypnotherapy for anxiety

Fear has many faces
It's basically an innate defense mechanism. This protective mechanism is intended to protect people from danger. Unfortunately, in some cases, people develop persistent fears. These then no longer have anything in common with the original protective effect. Women are affected more often than men. With an alarming annual rate of almost 23%, anxiety disorders are among the most common mental illnesses in women. In men, anxiety accounts for almost 10%.
There are three general types of fear:
- Directed fear: The fears appear as a consequence of experienced situations, eg the fear of losing one's job, the fear of death in the event of a diagnosis or the fear of other real threats.
- Generalized anxiety: This is caused by persistent and recurring worries, nervousness or dizziness.
- Phobias: fears of certain creatures, things or activities.
All forms of fear are experienced as very distressing and this often leads to aggravated reactions, such as withdrawal or exaggerated security behavior. Many of those affected develop depression, personality disorders or alcohol or drug addiction as a result of their illness.
Hypnosis is the first step towards a fear-free existence with a high quality of life. Hypnosis ends the often year-long ordeal so that clients can find a completely free attitude to life.
Dissolving hypnosis as an effective aid for anxiety
Dissolving hypnotherapy offers a way to treat anxiety based on the latest scientific findings. Above all, we work with the feelings that are behind your consciously experienced problem. So we're going back to the source of fear. Most clients are not aware of this origin and are therefore not accessible. The clients often have theories, but these are mostly only rational attempts at explanations that do not help or only the symptoms of the fear are treated. Fear is a very real and dominant emotion that cannot be dealt with through purely rational methods. Most clients have already done this and usually come to hypnosis quite desperately.
Through hypnosis, a connection to the triggering feeling can be established in order to be able to dissolve it on the emotional level. As a result, my focus is not on suggestions (like many other hypnotists), but on healing the trigger in the subconscious. As a result, I don't have to interpret anything, but we work on your very individual triggers and on your individual healing.
Procedure in hypnosis
Hypnosis works because we get to the root of the fear. As an experienced psychologist, the safe framework is tailored to you. In the first hypnosis session, the fear is treated directly with hypnosis, making it a very effective and fast procedure. The advantage of hypnosis is that the effects can be felt quickly, can be experienced directly in everyday life and the healing usually continues in the unconscious for days or weeks after the hypnosis.
This is partly due to the fact that hypnosis gives the autonomic nervous system the impetus to regulate itself. So we don't work on symptoms, but on the triggering roots. To do this, you must be self-motivated to achieve change and be fully committed to it. A mere desire for change is not enough. If we both give everything so that you can finally go through life without fear again, we can already check the success of the hypnosis during the session.
